Welcome to April. I don't know where you are, but here in the Midwest USA, we have had three seasons this April - Winter for a few days that sent everyone scrambling back to find heavy sweaters, Spring for a few days with perfect temperatures and blooming flowers, and Summer for a few days that made everyone drag out the shorts and sandals! Toss in a few storms, tornadoes, hail, a few 60 mile-an-hour winds, and inches of rain that turned the soon to be garden into a swamp, and that pretty well finishes out April.
What better way to end this wild roller coaster of a month than with a simple Easy Peezy Tea party!
As usual, however, we're keeping it very Easy Peezy!
We're starting the first course with orange/cranberry scones served with butter and orange marmalade. I'm sorry I don't have a photo of them, they were so yummy, everyone gobbled them down before I could snap a photo!
However, for the second course, the Savory course, I chose spinach-artichoke spread on slices of soft baguette. You can choose to toast your bread or just warm it. Either is fine. And because this is easy peezy, I actually purchased the spinach-artichoke dip and heated it in a pretty bowl, because remember, presentation is the key! This same dip is also delicious with tortilla chips or your favorite cracker.

Because we had a few younger friends with us today for this tea party, for the Dessert course, I chose something that is part of our campfire cuisine, also easy and fun to make with a campfire! It's what we call cookie s'mores. Instead of graham crackers as your base, use your favorite cookie! In this case, the chocolate was included!

Today's easy peezy tea party tip: If you don't have a matching sugar bowl or creamer, just use an extra matching teacup!

And Today's Tea: English Breakfast! Enjoy an Easy Peezy Tea Party with those you love! Stay safe and dry during this spring stormy season and drink Tea!
